Appointments
Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will strive to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. At this time routine appointments are scheduled up to 8-10 weeks out. New clients seeking to join our practice will be asked to prepay the exam portion of the visit at the time of scheduling.
Emergency & Urgent Care
We only offer after hours emergency care for Equine, however we will see small animal emergencies during business hours for our established clients. In order to fit these emergencies into our daily schedule you may be asked to leave your pet with us to be evaluated and receive treatment. Emergencies can be things such as accidental ingestion of rat poison, hit by car, foreign body ingestion, urinary blockages, lacerations and much more. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment please call us before you come in so a staff member can provide you with further instruction.
At times, for your small animal needs, we may refer you to our friends at Animal Emergency and Specialty Hospital. Animal Emergency and Specialty Hospital is located at 6820 Edgeview Ave SW, Byron Center, MI 49315. They can also be reached at (616) 537-1402. If your equine needs after hours care, please call us at (989)772-6933.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" your pet in between scheduled appointments. To do so we will require that you drop your pet off.
Please call us before you arrive and when you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
